FAH 230 - Arts of the Americas

An exploration of the broad American experience as reflected in painting, sculpture, architecture, and photography from ancient Meso-American period, to the Colonial Period, and the end of World War II. Major artists, themes, and movements in the United States with consideration of artistic developments throughout the Americas (Canada, Latin America, and South America) will be studied.
