TH 261 - Religions of Asia


This course introduces students to the Catholic approach to God, the human condition, and religious fulfillment and to the thoughts of Confucianism, Daoism, Hinduism, Sikhi, and Buddhism on similar questions. Students will also understand why the Religions of Asia matter in the contemporary, global context. (Formerly TH 304)

Note:  Meets the Catholic Reasoning (CATH) and Global Engagement Learning Outcome (GLOB)

Four credits.

Prerequisite(s): A 100-level theology course.
