TH 286 - Chinese Religion and Christianity This course explores theological themes in Christianity and Chinese Religion, with a special focus on Daoism. The purpose of the approach is to establish and expand the Catholic Christian self-understanding by virtue of the dialogue. Naturally, students will learn about Daoism as well. Initially the course introduces the method of comparative theology, then the rest of the course is a tour of Catholic theological categories interacting with their Daoist analogues.
Note: Meets Theological Reasoning: Catholic Theological Learning Outcome (CATH) and the Global Engagement Learning Outcome (GLOB)
