FAH 230 - The Arts of the United States and the Americas

An exploration of the American experience as reflected in painting, sculpture, architecture, and photography from the Colonial Period to the end of World War II. Major artists, themes, and movements in the United States with consideration of artistic developments throughout the Americas (Canada, United States, Latin America, South America) will be studied.
