The Public Health minor provides an opportunity for students from other majors to explore aspects of the field of public health. Public health is an interdisciplinary science seeking to understand, promote, and protect the health of people and their communities. Public Health is strongly rooted in principles of health equity, social justice and addressing local and global disparities in health.  Students should consult with a PBH director in order to design a program of study that complements their major and academic interests.
