SP 356 - Introduction to Latin-American Culture and Civilization A study of Latin-American culture from its origins to the present time, emphasizing the contemporary situation, the transformation of Latin- American societies, their present problems and dilemmas as reflected in their artistic and cultural output. This course involves 150 minutes of class and one weekly session of conversation with a native speaker of Spanish. Conducted in Spanish.
Four credits.
Prerequisite(s): SP 300 or equivalent.
