EN 153 - World of Poetry

Designed for non-English majors and open to all students, EN153 The World of Poetry introduces students to the basic formal, stylistic and literary-cultural elements of poetry and furnishes them with the opportunity to grow in understanding and appreciation of poetic expression in its varied forms. Individual sections of EN153 will be structured around a particular theme and/or author.

Sample Topics: Asian American Poetry; Hip Hop Poetry; New England Poets.
