ED 429 - The Bridge Experience

The Bridge Experience is a one-semester field experience, taken in the semester prior to the Clinical Capstone. The focus of the Bridge Experience is to orient students to the Clinical Capstone school and classroom, and to develop a familiarity and relationship to the mentor and curriculum. In the Bridge Experience, students receive support from the Coordinator of Clinical Practice to meet identified and required objectives in preparation for the Clinical Capstone: Student Teaching. The Bridge Experience occurs in off-campus school settings for a minimum of 30 clinical hours. Additionally, the Bridge Experience will provide support and guidance with placement specific applications, testing, trainings, paperwork and background check requirements.
