BU 102 - Introduction to Social Innovation

This course will engage students in the dynamic and growing field of social innovation through the review of important literature and debates about the foundational concepts and applied approaches for identifying social and environmental problems. Concepts of design thinking, lean startup and storytelling are introduced. Students will also learn and apply methods to develop their own ideas and gather first-hand experiences.
