CM 320 - Gender and Communication This course explores gender as it is understood through various communicative practices. Students will investigate how femininity and masculinity are communicated through performance, and how various cultural discourses create men and women as political and social subjects. This course asks: how do communicative practices-speech, writing, body language, cultural discourse-articulate sex and gender differences? And what are the consequences of those articulations?
Four credits.
