BI 334 - Animal Physiology


Animal Physiology discusses major physiological concepts through a systems approach and introduces general physiological processes used by various animal groups to deal with conditions and extract resources from their environment.  The course utilizes a comparative approach to consider physiological similarities and differences at multiple levels of organization, ranging from biophysics to behavioral adaptations in whole organisms.

Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory each week for one semester. Four credits.

Prerequisite(s): BI 103  - BI 104  or equivalent as determined by Department Chair.
