CH 110 - Powering a Modern Society This course is a one-semester chemistry course designed to allow non-science students interested in an opportunity to explore the chemical principles involved in energy, its generation, application and societal implications. Methods of scientific calculation are also treated.
Note: Meets Scientific Reasoning (SCI) and Global Engagement Learning Outcome (GLOB)
Three hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory each week. Four credits.
