CH 270 - Quantitative Analysis


This course covers principles and methods of volumetric, gravimetric, chromatographic, and electrochemical analysis including ionic equilibria, ionization constants, pH, buffers, salt hydrolysis, indicators, oxidation-reduction, gravimetric factors, calibration, and voltammetry. Applications of statistical analysis to chemical data also are included.

Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory each week. Four credits.

Prerequisite(s): CH 150 , or permission of instructor.
