AC 621 - Decision Making and Control in Government and Not for Profit Organizations This graduate level course introduces students to the basic concepts, analyses, uses and procedures of managerial accounting information and control used by internal business managers when they are faced with planning, directing, controlling and decision-making activities in their organization. The course will focus on the study of managerial information utilizing data analytics and its application in decision making as it relates to government and not for profit organizations. As all organizations rely on financial data to make critical strategic choices in today’s data driven environment, understanding data analysis is crucial to the survival and development of these firms.
