CH 420 - Research and Seminar I

Students receive instruction on department specific chemical safety, library research techniques, and project planning.  The student presents periodic oral reports to the class and faculty. In addition, faculty members and outside guest speakers present lectures on topics not covered in other courses. Required of Chemistry majors. This course carries no credit, but is a prerequisite for CH 421. Open to qualified students in other majors with the permission of both department chairpersons. Required of Chemistry majors.
