The Spanish minor for Health Sciences is a course of study designed to provide nursing, pre-med, health sciences and public health students with the opportunity to achieve advanced proficiency in Spanish in a highly specialized learning environment, as well as experiential and study abroad learning opportunities.  Students are required to successfully complete a minimum of 20 credits to achieve the minor.

(The minor consists of 8 courses: two 4 credit courses and six 2 credit courses.  The summer study abroad  trip is also a requirement, where students complete an immersive culture and conversation course and nursing internship.)
