Major Electives:
Choose 4 electives from the following in alignment with the student’s track. Physician’s Assistant (PA) Track
Physical Therapy (PT) Track
Occupational Therapy (OT) Track
Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Accelerated BSN Track
Course Sequence Outline
Students work closely with their academic advisors to determine the appropriate course program based on the student’s area of interest. In the Sophomore Year
Students typically take statistics to complete their Quantitative Reasoning requirement in the fall and Structure and Function in the spring. Students should take at least one health science elective aligned with their track each semester. The remainder of their schedule includes core courses, free electives, or courses to fulfill a double major or minor. At the end of the year students should begin planning for their internship. In the Junior Year
Health Science majors will take Human Anatomy & Physiology I and II, Introductory Physics for the Life Sciences I. Additional courses include core courses, internship, electives aligned with their track. In the Senior Year
Health Science majors will complete their internship, any remaining health science electives, core courses, free electives, or courses for a double major or minor. |
