CM 318 - Intercultural Communication This course provides an introduction to intercultural communication, focusing on the importance of diversity in our everyday lives. In order to develop a strong level of cross-cultural competency, this course challenges students to learn about the ways people from different cultural backgrounds communicate based on their worldviews and narratives. It is expected that this comprehensive method of studying intercultural communication will foster an appreciation of the complexity inherent in intercultural interactions. In addition, the learning process should enhance self-reflection, flexibility and sensitivity toward other cultures.
