CS 230 - Computer Networks and Security An introduction to the structure, implementation, and theoretical underpinnings of computer networking and the applications enabled by that technology. Topics include the layers of the OSI and TCP/IP stacks, common communication protocols, network architecture, internet applications, and network security.
Four credits.
Prerequisite(s): CS 112 or (CS 111 and CJ 214 ) or permission of the instructor.
